Sentenced!!! 12 Years of hard labor

June 8 (Bloomberg) -- North Korea sentenced U.S. journalists Euna Lee and Laura Ling to 12 years of labor for charges including illegally entering the country, stoking tension with the Obama administration after detonating a nuclear device last month.

The two women were sentenced after a June 4-8 trial in which they were found guilty of the “crime they committed against the Korean nation,” the state-run Korean Central News Agency said.

The sentencing may enflame tensions that are already running high after North Korea detonated a nuclear device last month, said the 1953 armistice ending the Korean War no longer applies and fired several missiles. South Korea has deployed a combat ship to its maritime border with the North and vowed last week to send F-15K fighter jets in the event of a clash.

Lee and Ling were detained along the China border March 17 while reporting for San Francisco-based Current TV, co-founded by former U.S. Vice President Al Gore.

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said “the charges against these young women are absolutely without merit or foundation,” in an interview with ABC television’s “This Week.”

Wow!!! Please pray for there immediate release.
